Domažlice is the starting point for any trip to the Bohemian Forest and the historic Chodsko region. The Bohemian Forest offers pristine nature with many hiking trails and cycling paths.
On the best-known cycling path (Nr. 3), which goes from Prague to Regensburg and on to Munich, you can see a unique aqueduct which has a millrace. It crosses over the railway at Hadrovec near Domažlice. On your trips near the border there are remnants of more than fifty settlements that were razed after the Second World War.
